Step into a world of history and tradition as the event commences with the Mesoamerican Ball Game from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Delve into the ancient past with this captivating recreation of a game that held deep significance in the heart of Latino culture. Inside the Expo, the Casa de Cultura, housed at the Katie Phillips Gallery, invites you to immerse yourself in the stories, artifacts, and wisdom that have been passed down through generations.

A Symphony of Music and Art: Martin Espino, Arts and Crafts, and Visual Art Gallery

Let the evening come alive with the musical melodies of Martin Espino. From 6:30pm to 9:30pm, his captivating tunes will fill the air, creating a backdrop of rhythm and harmony for all attendees. Families can partake in Arts and Crafts, allowing everyone to channel their creativity and connect with the artistic spirit of the event. The Visual Art Gallery, presented by Dermar Gallery & Boutique, Tracy Negrete, and Hawkeye, will take you on a visual journey through stunning works that tell stories of heritage and identity.

Tianguis: The Marketplace of Treasures

Across the street from the Expo, the parking lot will be transformed into a Tianguis, a bustling marketplace where crafts, arts, and unique items from a variety of vendors await. As you peruse the offerings, the enchanting Marimba Tropical and Acoustic Guitar by Vanessa Avelar will set the tone for a delightful shopping experience.

Tardeada Discoteca: Salsa, Rock en Español, Cumbia, and More

The Expo Parking Lot will become a hub of movement and music during the Tardeada Discoteca. JD Dance will kick things off with a salsa class from 6:30pm to 7:00pm, ensuring that everyone is ready to dance the night away. From 7:00pm to 9:30pm, DJ Hawkeye and Gman will take the stage, spinning an irresistible blend of rock en español, cumbia, and Latin sounds that will have everyone grooving.

Celebrating Movement and Tradition: Ballet Folklorico, Cumbia, and Mariachi

At the Kiosco in the Parking Lot on the corner of Atlantic and Burlinghall Dr, the evening will be graced by the elegance and beauty of CSULB Ballet Folklorico from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Following this, JD Dance will lead a dynamic cumbia and salsa dance from 7:30pm to 8:15pm, infusing the evening with energy and rhythm. The crescendo of the night arrives with the soul-stirring melodies of Mariachi Los Santaneros from 8:15pm to 9:15pm, bringing the spirit of Mexico to the heart of Bixby Knolls.

A Grand Finale: The Night's Crescendo

As the night nears its conclusion, a final musical interlude from 9:15pm to 9:30pm will fill the air, leaving a lasting imprint of the magical night that was "Nuestras Raíces."
